Man on the Moon
- Where’re you from?
- Do you think that you’re from a planet called earth?
- What are you?
- Did you ever think about it?
- Who are you?

There’s a movie… It’s Big Fish. A great movie for me. In the movie, there’s a man, a father who likes to tell unbelievable but joyful kind of surreal stories to his kids and friends. That’s the way of the father to teach important lessons but… This man’s son hates his father’s way of story telling. The son thinks that all the stories are crap, embarrassing and becomes a barrier between him and his father’s real personality. So the son believes that he doesn’t know his real father because of the stories. The father was saying that never ask a question if you don’t want people answer you. I want you to ask the questions above to yourself.

The movie: Man on the Moon.
Prejudice is an ankle bracelet which you put on yourself, lock it and throw away the key somewhere you don’t know until you aware of what you did to yourself. This was what I did to myself exactly. I was thinking that Jim Carrey is a great comedian. His mimics and gestures are so funny but that’s all. Wrong! This was my prejudice. As you may know, Man on the Moon is a biographical movie about the performance artist Andy Kaufman. (or Latka Gravas from the hit TV show Taxi.) Jim Carrey plays Andy Kaufman and his performance is magical. I smiled, laughed out loud and cried when I watch the movie. I strongly suggest you to see this film.
When we were child, we played many games like it’s real. When we grow up, we continue play games like it’s real. We’re all actors. We don’t know anything. We believe something and pretend it’s real. More believers make it even more real. That’s an illusion. Andy Kaufman’s performances show this clearly like a mirror. He tricks you again and again like you do to other people every other day.
